Well I have found my little hide away place on the lake! The bear barriers were lifted Tuesday and the beach no we have beach access! The weather has been perfect and actually warm! With all this hiking I’ve been doing I could use a couple days at the beach! Last Thursday I went on a 16mile camping trip to ShaShone Lake that was quite the adventure.. lets just say I have taken it easy since then. The trip was strenuous but over all it was amazing. Looking back on how many miles you have hiked at the end of the day is one of the most rewarding feelings. Def some life lessons being learned out here. The people here are all someone to take interest in and learn something from them!
Last night I found myself once again on the hotel side of the park listening to a a group of violinist. The flawless violinist played beautifully, makes me wish I could play an instrument! I was intrigued and found myself wishing I was a little girl again when a little girl next to us didn’t give a care in the world about what others thought as she twirled around in her pink little dress. It was absolutely precious! There has been a lot of hussle and bussle around here these days after a ten hour work day the night was everything I needed and more!
My work days have been long but I am just one more long day away from the 4th of July festivities and I cannot wait! The week has def been productive with long work days AND I just have to tell the world this because I am so proud, the roommate and I rearranged the room [we bunked our beds!] and decorated the walls [I kno I am only here for another month ha] and the place looks very close to “coolest dorm” in Mallard Hall :]
Tomorrow will be exactly half way, one month in one month away from out. I love it here and if school was not in the picture I feel as though I wouldn’t mind staying here till October [close] Yellowstone is my home and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
